Welcome to the Social Resilience Website
We are an interdisciplinary research team from different research institutes that works on conceptualizing and empirically assessing social resilience. A first project focused on 'Social Vulnerability and Resilience' with sub-studies in Bolivia, Pakistan and Tanzania. Two new projects aim at learning more about 'Reproductive Resilience of Adolescents in Ghana and Tanzania' and 'Old Age Vulnerability and Resilience in Tanzania'. The projects are sponsored by the National Centre for Competence in Research North-South and the Swiss National Science Foundation.
